The Indianapolis 500 is a massive automobile race that's held every Memorial Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Known as the greatest spectacle in racing, this event draws thousands to witness 30 drivers race 200 laps around a 2.5 mile track. The experience of the Indy 500 is one that is filled with tradition, celebration, and wonder. NBC Sports seeks to share that experience with their viewers in their annual broadcast of the race.
For this project, I was tasked to create a mock rebrand package for a TV Show, or network. Package had to consist of a title sequence/intro and a toolkit with various elements of our choice.
The Indycar is a symbol of the Indy 500 that can be universally recognized among viewers both old and new to the sport. The assembly of the car celebrates the historical significance and evolution of the Indianapolis 500 as a racing spectacle.
